Kaden's First Day of School

So, I can't believe it came. My little boy started school today, it was definately a defining moment of my boy growing up. He was soo excited to start school today, he even came in and woke me up early. I made him a special breakfast of french toast, also for his daddy's birthday. I grabbed the camera as he was running out the door, I could hardly keep up with him, he was soo excited, he wanted to run the whole way there! He got to know his teacher today, they sang some songs, listened to a story, and got to go on a walk and tour the school and play outside for a few mintues. He will have a testing day tomorrow, to see where he is at, and back to school night on Thursday. He will start going every day next week on Tuesday after the holiday.

It is a rare occasion that we are able to all get together as a family, let alone in matching clothes! It was fun seeing everyone at the wedding yesterday, we all had a great time!

Today is the big day! Colby my (step) brother is taking a big step towards marraige! And he has choosen a wonderful girl of 6 years now with him to be his wife. I am so excited for you to join the family Courtni. It has been really wonderful getting to know you over the las several months, and I am sure you are going to be a great addition.

another Clover update

So, Talked to the Nurse on Tuesday, and another Dr. appointment on wednesday. So far, the Dr. has found the antibiotic she needs to clear the infection, and we are scheduled for ANOTHER kidney scan on Friday morning to make sure everything is clearing up, and decide if anything else will need to be done, or where to go from there. Since changing the antibiotic Tuesday night we have seen an even bigger improvement, which is wonderful, she was being herself this morning at the Dr's. She has a "guy" there, she calls him, "my guy" "Dustin". She really likes her guy Dustin, she blushes every time she looks at him, it was sooo stinkin cute, he said that she was his most favorite little girl in there, and she blushed again, and could hardly talk... She has won everyone over at the Dr's office, nurse Dustin, and pretty much EVERYONE.

Clover seems to be feeling much better, she woke up this morning with NO FEVER! =) this is a first in 4 days. The antibiotic finally seems to be working. We still don't know the results of the ultrasound, we should find out tommorow, but I am guessing no news is good news.

Sick little girl =(

Clover has been pretty sick the last few days, she is battling a bladder infection. After anti-biotics she is still running a pretty high feaver, and we will be taking her in to the hospital tonight for a scan on her kidneys to make sure she doesn't have problems with her kidney's again. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, we are hoping for a fast recovery, hopefully she will be better soon.

I just love this picture! Scott was shooting some pictures of the planes that fly over our house one day, and turned around and snapped this one of kaden through the screen door. I LOVE this picture, you can tell Kaden is up to no good, the look on his face tells it all. To most, it looks like a half smile, but, to us, he's planning some kind of joke, or getting ready to tease someone, one way or another..

I loved watching this video, it goes to show that the concept of "The Secret" and other self improvement type programs has in fact been around for ever, and it does work.
What I love most about this, is the stress / worry part. If you are truely always trying to think positive, you don't have worry or stress. I experiance this all the time with some one in my life, who I am trying to get to come around to this idea. any moment something "stressful" happens, they worry and stress. Me, I know it will be ok, I know not to worry. It ALWAYS works out, it may not be easy, I may have to "give back" some how, but it always works out.

I am posting this in hopes that this can resinate, and really take hold in others lives.
