Day in the Dandelions

I found the most beautiful spot for taking pictures in the dandelions! I wish I could go a different time of day, but this won't last long and I would have missed all the bright yellows!

Yearly Check up...

I hate these appointments. ALMOST more than the dentist. Why do Dr. offices have to be soo crowded.. and you wait, and wait, and wait... then, the insurance companies set all these rules, and make it hard to get anything accomplished in one visit? Grrrr.... It was a pretty frustrating day as far as Dr.'s visits go, I only got half of what I went for accomplished, I have to go back for 2, yes 2 other visits, One for a different procedure, and the other, is a referral for some whole other issue that came about as I was going through all the fun yearly stuff.... IUD's are BAD... I used to think differently... but now... uhhh... after everything I have already been through, I hope we have no problems becoming pregnant... I hope my blood work comes back ok.. and I hope I don't have to be out and have surgery becuase of my stupid IUD.... Do your research before considering an IUD.. KNOW your risks, and know those risks can and DO happen.

"Kids" POTD

I wanted to post something a little different this week as far as the "kids" topic.



Today this picture is about kids that once were. We recently purchase our first home back in October, the house was built in 1941, so there has been many kids in the home before us. As our puppy Roxy was digging in the back yard, she pulled up an old "treasure"! And this is what she found.


Now I really don't know how Old this doll is, but it made me think about all the other happy play times other children have had in our home. That not only is it our home now, and we are building great memories for our children. But there was a time, when our yard was another child's yard. Some girl most have loved this doll, and had wonderful memories of the yard as well.

We got a new puppy last week, and Kaden just loves her to peices. "Roxy" is a great addition to the family and we are happy to have her. She is going to be an excellent family dog.
